Your first contract review

From creating a matter to reading and exporting your first set of verified findings.

  1. 1Create a matter — matters are the container for documents, findings, tasks, and the audit trail. Set the jurisdiction (Nigeria is the default) so the right execution and compliance rules apply.
  2. 2Upload the contract — drag a PDF, DOCX, or RTF into the matter. Wait for parsing to complete (a scanned PDF takes a little longer while OCR runs).
  3. 3Choose a Review Level — pick how much supervision the task warrants, from low (routine) to highest (deal-critical). This governs how many findings escalate to you. See Review Level.
  4. 4Run the review — optionally attach a playbook so findings are judged against your firm's positions. Start the review and watch findings appear as they clear the CitationGate.
  5. 5Work the findings — each card shows the risk, the exact quoted clause (click to jump to the page), and the agents' reasoning. Accept, dismiss, or send to a redline.
  6. 6Export — generate a Word redline with native tracked changes, export the comparison grid to Excel, or download the audit trail.
